DIVERSITY IMPACT ASSESSMENT

Bullying and harrassment trainingAn Impact Assessment is a requirement of the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000, and is used to determine whether a policy (or proposed policy) affects different groups of people in different ways.

By undertaking an Impact Assessment of its Race Equality Schemes, organisations are able to ensure they not only meet the requirements of the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000, but can also ensure that the benefits of the organisational policies are realised, thereby enabling race equality to become a reality in the organisation.
